Our stylists are divided into three quality levels:
STYLIST, CREATIVE STYLIST & MASTER STYLIST.
STYLIST
The Stylist is a starting, qualified talent who performs basic treatments under professional supervision.
CREATIVE STYLIST
This experienced stylist has a loyal clientele and, thanks to several years’ experience and extensive training, guarantees consistent quality and refined service.
MASTER STYLIST
the highest level within Het Haartheater. The Master Stylist has a strong reputation, built up through years of expertise and the most comprehensive training programme. As a creative leader, trainer and trendsetter, the Master Stylist often works at an international level too, in collaboration with hair brands and productions abroad. Naturally, this level also continues to evolve.
The crew behind the scenes
Dimitri Last, Inge van der Plas and Susanne Kroes together make up the management team that brings together knowledge, experience, craftsmanship, education, and the day-to-day running of things behind the scenes. Their strength lies not in similarity, but precisely in difference. Three areas of expertise, one shared vision.
By combining these strengths, Het Haartheater has grown to become one of the most successful salon chains in the hairdressing sector. This is no coincidence, but the result of well-thought-out collaboration, mutual trust and a deep-rooted passion for the profession.

Magic is what drives me
My career began when I was seventeen, working as a stylist and make-up artist for Rob Peetoom. I worked on TV productions, shows and magazines, and realised early on that a good haircut and the right make-up not only make people look their best, but also give their self-confidence a huge boost. They become happier, gentler and more approachable. I found that transformation magical.
That feeling still drives me today. After nearly thirty years in the industry, I was given the opportunity to breathe new life into Het Haartheater – a brand that has always held a special place in my heart.
My mission is to weave creativity, craftsmanship and awareness into every aspect of Het Haartheater. A key part of this is our Academy – a place where both young and experienced stylists can develop their craft, creativity and self-confidence. Because when they shine, their clients shine too. If I can contribute to that, my mission will be a success.
Alongside my role in management and my position as Head Educator of Het Haartheater Academy, as a master stylist I still love working on the salon floor. You can find me weekly in Centrum, Uptown Zuid and Heemstede. There is nothing quite like collaborating with the team and having direct contact with the client.
